The first method I have used in the past to keep up with this post is to make reminders in my calendars. This is a class that has a lot of assignments at very unusual dates. If you don't write down what you have homework do on Friday by noon or a Monday at noon, you might forget. Another method that I have used for this class is to watch lectures before doing a cupcake. Many people do the cupcakes without even attempting to watch lectures because they are lazy. They simply do not want to spend 3 hours watching them. However, I think that the lectures are very interesting and you can learn a lot from this course. I have already learned basic principles are how businesses are established!

The closest moment I was about to give up was last semester. I have marketing, Business statistics and agribusiness economics tests and the same week. In the beginning, I only was going to study for the statistics one since that was the test that was going to take the most amount of time to study for. However, as I was going through my statistics lectures, I remembered that one of the reasons I’m in UF is to be successful. I can’t simply study for a test here. I ended up studying for the 3 tests and ended with good scores. In the past 2 months, I have earned some tenacious attitudes. In the past I barely got my homework done on time. Now I do my homework for at least one day before. This is because now I do what I have to do. Also, by doing homework 1 day before I do them with a much better attitude and I also end up doing them better. The experience that contributed to this is that I attempted to do a homework 2 hours before the due date and I did not finish it. I did not know that the homework was that long. Because of that, I do my homework now at least 1 day before the due date.

The first tip I would recommend is to be persistent. College can be very hard sometimes. You can get to the border of insanity sometimes. However, you have to remember that persistence is the key to success in college. If you are taking 5 classes you have to do your work for all of them. You have to persist to be successful.

The second tip I would give someone is to be consistent. Being persistent is the key to success. However, being consistent is also a huge part of it. If you do your homework correctly 1 time but you do it incorrectly 5 times you are not being consistent. Consistency is what drives big companies to have huge success. It is a way to retain their clients. In this scenario, consistency will help you to retain your grades!

The third tip I would give someone is to time management. I know that this is probably the most used tip people give to college students but it is true. For example, test days sometimes can be very harsh on someone. As I previously mentioned before, I had 3 tests on the same week on one occasion. The only way to successfully attempt these tests is by studying ahead of time. If you make your schedule and you study for 3 different tests for 9 days I’m sure you will be successful. Managing time is just as important as my other 2 tips.

I wanted to use this image of Rocky because he never gave up. He is a true example of persistency, consistency and good ability of time management.

You have a good post and a clear message to stand behind. Time management is the key to success not only as a college student but also in the real world as well. Learning how to best utilize all of our time now by scheduling things and getting things done ahead of time will only go a long way in determining how far we are able to go in our respective careers in the near future.
